| Bio: | I'm on the left side of 50--but just barely (so yes, I am over the age of 18)--, am divorced and have two grown sons thousands of miles away (in Alaska & Japan). I own a small technical business and my job keeps me on the road all the time, traveling to counties and municipalities in the American Midwest and Southwest, usually by car. This traveling gives me lots of "windshield" time to think, strategize, dream and write novels and stories in my head. I'm particularly fascinated with developing out "holes" in existing stories and filling in "missing scenes." That led me to fan fiction and my introduction to fanfic writing on other sites led me here. Elements of my Real Life make it into my writing all the time, and I'm currently heavily influenced by my mother's dementia and the sorrow associated with losing a mother while she is still living and breathing. I live in a smallish home in a rural subdivision with an acre and a half of space around me but grew up in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri. If I could have anyone's job, I'd take Dave Barry's column, back when he had a regular one.... You can find my Severus/Harry mentor fic and some other misc. stories on fanfiction dot net.
